General information about flower essences
« on: December 19, 2017, 08:27:33 PM »
"People like ourselves who have tasted the glory of self-sacrifice, the glory of helping our brothers, once we have been given a jewel of such magnitude, nothing can deviate us from our path of love and duty to displaying its lustre, pure and unadorned to the people of the world."
 Dr. Edward Bach

The first 38 flower essences were discovered by dr Bach in the 1930s.
He found out how to extrapolate the active principle from wild flowers: plunging them in a bucket of water and let them soak for 24 hrs under the sun and moonlight, then filter the water. At this point, the "mother remedy" is ready to stock in bottles (generally 10, 15 or 30 ml.)

Once you buy a remedy stock bottle (one essence per bottle), you can prepare other bottles of the same remedy or you can mix up to about 6 remedies for a personalised combination in a empty bottle.

Procedure:

Prepare:  an empty bottle
                 Cognac or brandy
Mineral water ( I use Evian)

Fill the bottle with 1/3 of water, 1/3 of Cognac.
Add 7 drops from the stock bottle to a new bottle of 15 ml.
14 drops from the stock bottle to a new bottle of 30 ml.

Always gently shake before use. I take 7 drops or half a pipe in the morning and 7 in the evening.

A practioner would suggest different schedules for different remedies: a remedy for arthrosis should be taken only once in the morning, because you usually feel more pain in the evening.

Keep far from electricity.
