Hi,
Just wanted to share a bazi calculator I made a while ago.
https://throosden.github.io/bazi (https://throosden.github.io/bazi)
I think it's easier to use than most free calculators available.
It still has a few rough edges that need to be fixed:
* not certain about life and body palace calculation
* not sure how to do the calculation of 12 officer on days during which month transition happens.
* probably more stuff I don't remember right now.
One thing I was working on was a backend admin system where you could add images/explanations for stuff (stems, gods, stars, ..) and then have that info accessible from calculator through modal or hover box.
Not really working on this calculator right now and I don't consider it to be "done" enough to be fully "released" in public. It needs more polish. But still, good enough to share on forum.

Seems really nice. : )

Hey Throosden,
Looks nice.
May I ask who calculation formula for the scores are you using and what is your sources for the Stars (sha shen).
Thanks,
rem

Both comes from a school I used to study in.
Unfortunately the exact formula was asked not to share. I changed it a little bit so that it cannot be reverse engineered.
The stars, I compared a few of them with tables found online. Mostly the same I believe. Some minor differences.

Throosden, thanks for sharing

For the stars, I think perhaps problem is not that much in the ways to calculate and variations, but more in the idea of knowing when it's activated or not. I see little emphasis on this on the forums. But what I learned is that I does have an impact, for some more then others.
Interesting stuff with the AI it seems. I'm not that much up to speed but I guess it will only become more and more a topic off discussion and debate. Now that I see this article, can't wait to have discussion with one myself :D.

Same here.
GPT 3 can be used for code, but we can't talk with the last generation AIs yet I think. Unless someone works in a company that is allowed access etc.

I very much agree here. I assumed the calculator didn't had that part, so didn't look much into it, will check,if it does that is very nice. As missing that makes it not very much useful and I haven't seen nice sources even mentioning that part, often, either. In English that is.

Aha, well its all good.
I usually just looked at the meaning from other styles of reading if I want to use the stars.
For example if its working god(the branch) - very likely to be present for positive meaning, if it stands in the way - very likely to be present if its negative etc.
And the other way around - if beneficial for the chart, very unlikely to be negative and present etc.
Silly, as positive and negative are rarely useful, but it worked very nice, just never got to actually going in depth with the stars with it, as other stuff on the way.
In that way it was just used as one more image on top of what we usually use here, and like that they do work nicely even without more info then that and what was on our site before.

I think this makes a lot of sense, can imagine it working nicely.
I plan on focusing on QMDJ after date selection, but after that will likely give the stars another try, I still have hopes there.

thanks for sharing! love it

I have noticed most bazi calculators do not include birth longitude and latitude/location, while still often times asking for time.
I’m brand new to the space- can anyone tell me why that is or how that works?

Since it needs a lot of information (and much work from the autor of program) in the program to calculate the solar time of birth, so the user has to calculate it himself.
In ancient time all use solar time but today we use artificial time from our clocks.

Thank you for the great work. I wonder that by any chance would you share native source code coz I love your style but have no intention to reverse engineer % formula. I also have my own formula but I wanna tweak many thing on top of this so that I can use by myself.

thanks for the calculator!
body pillar xin chou clash with year pillar xin wei nerve injury to hand birth injury accident if chart has more metal as xin touches yi? decade pillar my first one is xin mao too...

are you still working on this? :-)

Hi @Robinramma , could you tell me your specific question? Wojtek doesn't often come to the forum, but he and I are in contact.
