2. Wei Officer is strong by Month.
3. Hidden third line Wu Wealth (Wife) comes out in this case. Wu Fire combines to produce Wei Officer.
4. Hai and Mao are in producing relation. Mao represents the job market or his career environment.
5. From 1-4, he is doing quite well in his career!
6. Wei Officer combines with Wu, which in turn comes with Dragon. He seems to be a government official?
7. In Si year, he needs to be careful with his job. It's because Si clashes Self line. Moreover, Shen Metal is weak this year, and cannot help Self line.

Hi Tientai, some corrections on the translation, especially the one in italic:
不無蹭蹬，榮旋日，兩袖清風而已。This is an inauspicious prediction.
Not without bad luck, glory comes full circle, nothing more than being uncorrupted (=having clean hands).
Thank you sharing this case! Normally I don't look at 6 years ahead with the Liu Yao method, though ;)

This is very interesting example.
In the rules I'm familiar with Hai moving to Shen to produce itself, means Shen won't interact with any other line(except day/month) as its like finding inner strength to get you through things, you are still Hai, Shen is just the support you find in yourself.
Now, Wei is interesting. This is the authority he is seeking, but Wei is producing Shen.
However, Wei at the same time is weakening Hai.
So the interesting question becomes, is Wei weakening him or its strengthening his support...
The way it looks it seems its both.
People in authority won't give him authority, but will help him find another job as cleaner.
While if we view Hai on line 3 with Wu hiding behind it as the person in authority that hires him as cleaner we have Wei in that line and month, both helping his support(Wei producing Shen) and weakening him although still combining(Hai <> Mao <> Wei making wood potentially, also connected to Output>Performance>Job)

I know this is an old case and maybe now the rules that everyone handles are different, but there is something that doesn't fit.

Feishen Hai water is weakening fushen to Wu fire. How can it get out?
Now, Wei is interesting. This is the authority he is seeking, but Wei is producing Shen.
However, Wei at the same time is weakening Hai.
Wei earth Officer is empty/void and unchanging. How can it produce shen?
Like six Wei earth Officer being Yong Shen and being empty (Kong Wang), how can that be auspicious?

I don't know if you've noticed that Shen metal Parents is weak because it's clashed by Yin Day, and in vanish life stage, then it doesn't seem a very promising support to Hai water. An active line broken by the day loses the ability to impose effects; that rule I think Gmuli uses, but I don't know if that applies to the changed line as well.

Are you sure it's broken by day? Note that the month Wei Earth produces Shen Metal.
Imagine that Shen was not a changed line, would that be a hidden movement?

Something along that line. But I would say Si binds the Shen, so Shen cannot produce Hai.

Are you sure it's broken by day? Note that the month Wei Earth produces Shen Metal.

True, I could assess it with neutral force, something like the Xiu (rest) qi phase. Yes, clashed per day I could move secretly, although slightly I think, half of energy. Overall, still clashed by the day, vanish phase, only strong by the month...suggests something weak.
