Hi Gmuli,
Thank you for the pointers re a starting point. Very helpful. Will also look around the forum to see what I can learn to help me get started.
Appreciatively,
B

Liu Yao / New to Liu Yao
« on: October 21, 2020, 02:18:35 PM »
Hi There,
This is my first post so greetings to all! I am new to WWG/Lui Yao. I have been focussing on Mei Hua for a while but recently decided to take the plunge into Liu Yao. I won't lie - I am a bit overwhelmed. I have the books by Jack Chiu, Vincent Koh, Raymond Lo and Dr Wang Yang and terminology between them all varies wildly so its been difficult to get much traction
. Jack Chiu’s book looks the most complete but it’s proving to be a lot harder to make sense of what is going in in there because he seems to have chosen an entirely new lexicon, compared to the other books.
I am going to keep chipping away at it however!
I guess my first question would be - what is the most basic foundational element I need to focus on to get my foot in the door when it comes to analysis? Creating the Hexagram and labelling it etc. is easy enough but I am trying to find my way establishing some sort of framework for interpreting what I see there.
Where to start?
Thanks!
Balthazar
