Wealth/Asset kills Parents

What logic comes to mind so that the relative wife/Wealth/Asset according to the five element theory kills/controls (Ke) parents if we take it as knowledge or learning. does woman kill knowledge? does wealth kill knowledge, books, documents? I don't see the point. I think it is one of the most difficult relationships to understand. Other absurd paradoxes would be that the wife/wealth kills our parents, grandfathers, teachers and professors, the wife/wealth kills the buildings and clothing that protect us, or it kills our fame and reputation.

"Does woman kill knowledge?"  There is some logic to it.  If I fool around with women then I don't have time to open my books and study. 

Well, this is a bit of an exaggeration, because there are Don Juan's that are studious and achieve educational success.  But the thing is in Liu Yao there is a focus or Yong Shen (Useful God). When you ask about studies or exams, typically you don't ask about romantic relationship.  And vice versa. 

Depending on the hexagram and situation, sometimes you can combine both women and exams at the same time.  For example, Wealth line changing to Parent line coming with Murky Warrior and Parent line combining with Self = first fool around with women, later study hard and achieve success.

Yes, indeed.  That's a nice example of "Wealth kills Parents".  Wealth/Asset = food, Parent = longevity.

Let me give a try. Assuming Parent is Resource & Husband (son) as DM.

DM has wealth and is favorable to him.  Thus, husband was able to marry a productive wife that helps him gain Authority which leads to the creation of Resources.  These Authority and Resource toward the husband is actually wife's Production & Wealth.  It is wife's effort that leads her to produce wealth or another way to express: control Resource for husband.

As stated, husband's Resources are his parents, since the parents probably will know or maybe knew about the wife's abilities, they probably decided to let the wife control them because it is in their best interest for their son. If wife is not happy (Wealth) then son (DM) will suffer.  Happy wife makes happy life🤩.

All goes well until husband/son decided to abuse his Wealth (wife) by cheating or having another affair (who knows why).  Thus, Wealth (wife) becomes unfavorable to DM.  Wealth may leave thus end of the story.  Instead, wealth decided that DM should be punished and attacks Resources or stop producing anything for Resource😤.  Without support, DM strength weakens or become unhappy (at least for the moment)?😰

This is interesting. At the same time we can see people with a lot of resource, in my experience, are usually overweight. And it makes sense, they have a lot of buffer to outside influences. At the same time Wealth as food would logically lead to someone becoming even more overweight.

Yet there is the idea of control(Officer).
So Wealth(Food) without control(Officer) leading to more Resource?

I don't know, I do agree something doesn't flow as nice.
Although another point of view would be that in bazi Output is food(eating good etc) we make and we eat. While wealth can be desire and stuff, and that does fit - the more we focus on what we desire the less support we have.

If we ignore the section of the forum it was posted in, phrased like that the question entirely applies to bazi as well. : )

In my view sometimes can be helpful for people studying specific system to learn how something is viewed in another system, as that can help a lot in developing more expensive view to it all.
Popular example would be learning QMDJ to understand stems better vs learning Liu Yao to get branches better etc.
