The FIDE World Championship 2024
« on: November 17, 2024, 03:17:05 PM »
I have a question, Who will be the chess champion in 2024?
Very soon Ding Liren (Current champion) and Gukesh Dommaraju will compete for this title.
Here are their bazi, unfortunately the hour is not known, but nevertheless it is interesting to analyze.

Ding Liren
Born October 29, 1992 in Wenzhou, China
Y M D H LP AP
壬庚癸x 癸 甲
申戌酉x 丑 辰

Gukesh Dommaraju
Born May 29, 2006 in Chennai, India
Y M D H LP AP
丙癸戊x 乙 甲
戌巳午x 未 辰

The first round will be November 25, 2024
甲乙癸
辰亥巳
a Closing ceremony December 14, 2024
甲丙壬
辰子子

Opinions about the favorites are divided, but most believe that Ding Liren is not in the best shape.
And analyzing the bazi and the Chinese calendar, I am inclined that Ding Liren will win.
He will probably lose the first game (癸巳), but in the end he will confirm his championship
What do you think?

Both DMs have yang soil. The Indian is better in the pillars of luck. But if he was born in the southern hemisphere, the Chinese has no chance.

Let’s analyze the Bazi charts of Ding Liren and Gukesh Dommaraju to assess their potential outcomes during the 2024 World Chess Championship. Since the hour of birth is unknown for both players, the analysis will focus on their available natal chart information, luck pillars (大运), and annual influence (流年).

---

### **Ding Liren**
**Bazi Chart:**
- Year: 壬申 (Ren Shen)
- Month: 庚戌 (Geng Xu)
- Day: 癸酉 (Gui You)
- Hour: Unknown
- Luck Pillar: 癸丑 (Gui Chou)
- Annual Pillar (2024): 甲辰 (Jia Chen)

#### **Key Observations:**
1. **Day Master (癸 Water):**
   - Ding Liren’s 癸水 (Yin Water) is resourceful and adaptive, but the chart lacks visible Wood (the element it supports) and visible Fire (which controls Water). This suggests that he relies heavily on external circumstances and preparation.

2. **Support and Control:**
   - His current Luck Pillar 癸丑 strengthens Water (his Day Master). However, it could also create an excessive Water imbalance, reducing focus and stability under pressure.
   - In 2024, 甲辰 brings strong Wood (甲) and Earth (辰). The Wood element (favorable for Water charts) provides resourcefulness and growth potential, but the strong Earth (辰) may drain Water, creating internal conflict.

3. **November 25, 2024 (癸巳):**
   - 癸 (Water) enhances Ding’s adaptability, but 巳 (Fire) directly clashes with the year’s 辰 (Dragon), creating instability.
   - Fire represents pressure for Ding, which could negatively impact his mental clarity in the first round.

4. **December 14, 2024 (壬子):**
   - 壬 (Water) reinforces his strength, and 子 (Water) supports his adaptive qualities, indicating better composure and stronger performance toward the end of the championship.

#### **Summary:**
Ding Liren may face a shaky start due to conflicting elemental influences early in the match but could recover as the tournament progresses. His overall success will depend on whether he can stabilize his emotional and mental focus.

---

### **Gukesh Dommaraju**
**Bazi Chart:**
- Year: 丙戌 (Bing Xu)
- Month: 癸巳 (Gui Si)
- Day: 戊午 (Wu Wu)
- Hour: Unknown
- Luck Pillar: 乙未 (Yi Wei)
- Annual Pillar (2024): 甲辰 (Jia Chen)

#### **Key Observations:**
1. **Day Master (戊 Earth):**
   - Gukesh’s 戊土 (Yang Earth) Day Master is strong due to support from 丙火 (Bing Fire in Year Stem) and 午火 (Fire in Day Branch). Fire feeds Earth, making him a determined and resilient individual.

2. **Support and Control:**
   - His current Luck Pillar 乙未 (Yi Wei) introduces favorable Wood and Earth elements. The Wood (乙) restrains excess Earth, creating balance, while Earth (未) strengthens his foundational stability.
   - In 2024, 甲辰 (Jia Chen) brings more Wood (甲) and Earth (辰), which align with his favorable elements, suggesting enhanced confidence and clarity.

3. **November 25, 2024 (癸巳):**
   - 癸 (Water) clashes with his strong Fire foundation, potentially creating pressure. However, 巳 (Fire) matches his natal chart's strength and could help him manage the pressure effectively.

4. **December 14, 2024 (壬子):**
   - 壬 (Water) weakens his Fire and Earth, and 子 (Water) further challenges his elemental balance. This combination may bring internal challenges, potentially affecting his consistency at the end of the championship.

#### **Summary:**
Gukesh has favorable elemental support in 2024, with strong Earth and Fire elements stabilizing his performance. However, Water-dominant days (such as the closing ceremony) could test his resilience, especially if the match is prolonged.

---

### **Comparison and Prediction:**
1. **Early Rounds (November 25, 2024 – 癸巳):**
   - Gukesh seems better positioned to handle the Fire-energy clash, which aligns with his natal chart. Ding may struggle initially due to the destabilizing Fire clash with his Water-dominant chart.

2. **Closing Rounds (December 14, 2024 – 壬子):**
   - Ding Liren’s Water dominance and adaptability give him an edge during Water-heavy periods. Gukesh may experience challenges maintaining his usual composure under these influences.

#### **Final Prediction:**
Ding Liren has a slight edge for a comeback toward the end of the championship, but Gukesh’s stability throughout the tournament might still favor him overall. It’s a close match, but Gukesh appears to have a better balance in 2024.

I'm sorry, I have a typo. Ding Liren was born on the 24th, not the 29th. but the bazi are faithful, the DM 癸酉.

Then it's clearly 50/50. Each BaZi school has its own view. Correct or not, for example, is shown by predictions.

There will be 14 games. The first one to score 7.5 points wins. We are waiting until December 13. I am not changing my forecast :).

So we see how important current energy is. I immediately noticed the abundance of 子 (“rats”) in the diagram (14.12.2024). And this is an update, a new one, youth and a child (in Chinese it means "son”).).  So we saw the youngest world chess champion.
I congratulate Gukesh, childhood dreams come true!!!

When analyzing the diagram, I thought several rats were walking together into a dragon.
Jlim, does this turn out to be good?
Apparently yes....
