Real case : My wife has some problem with her Boss !!

Hi Tientai, could you provide some more background information?  What is the nature of her job, what kind of problem it is, what is the work setting (a small mom-and-pop store, medium-sized company, large government office) etc. 

Different settings give different directions to analyze the lines:

For example, if the boss is the highest-level director, then we mainly look at Officer line.
If the boss is her team supervisor, then we mainly look at Parents+Sibling line.

My wife is working as a saleswoman in a women's clothing store for 18 years.
Her boss and his two brothers are shareholders in his own business ... although he controls three stores ... everyone has a shop working for.
Long ago these shops had employees because of a lot of work. But when things changed, the employees were dismissed and last 2 years the bosses became more than the employees  (Three Bosses on Two employees  Lol)... hahaha ... !!!
My wife is a hardworking person but also sensitive and emotional woman.
This year has begun an unjust war with a peak on 25/5 /2018.
He rebuked her that she was not profitable in his work (an injustice because she helped at the same time two stores that are one next to the other).
Her boss gave her a 15-day summer vacation much earlier than other years ... and on 16/6/2018 finished and started working ...
She decided not to answer his insulting phrases ... and to make her job calm and uncontroversial ... !!
I warned him saying "if she is not appropriate for your work after 18 years !! .. then dismiss her after paying the compensation .. and not insult her this way !!!".

Things are getting better  ... but we are worried about it ... !!

Hi Tientai,

1.  Don't worry, she will not be made redundant before 2020 Zi year.  Fifth hidden line comes out of hidden mode and clashes Month Wu (Horse).  The Month Wu represents authority or work environment.  Zi Wealth represents money.  Zi clashing Wu means she will leave the job, and that happens in Zi year.  As you wrote in the pm, the Zi year will be her retirement age.  That's why it's important to analyze the hexagram with some background information.  Since we know it's retirement age, this means she is not made redundant.

2.  Looking from the perspective of her direct boss: your wife is represented by Fourth Self line.  While he (boss) is represented by Other line, which is Parents Si Fire.  This line swaps image with Si Fire at the Sixth line.  The Sixth line overcomes the Self line, because Fire overcomes Metal.  Oh yes, he did scold her like fire smelting metal!  But in the changed hexagram, the Sixth line changes into You Metal, which is also the Self line You Metal.  The boss line changing into her line, means he will still work with her.  So, he will not fire her.

3.  Self line is a moving line, so she did react to his boss when scolded and not keep calm.  But the thing is, the one who really tossed the hexagram was yourself, so your own emotions also get into the hexagram.  Therefore, the moving line could also reflect you reacting against the boss.  That's why it would be best if she herself tossed the coins, because she was the one involved with this issue.

4.  About her only colleague, this is represented by the Third line Siblings.  This is a progressive line, which fits her well because she has more years than your wife.  But as you can see, Chou changes to Chen, and Chen combines with You.  So she has good intentions towards her.  The thing is Self line is in Kong Wang (Death & Emptiness), so Self cannot feel the good intentions.

One extra observation from the hexagram

5. The company has been around for decades.  Hint: the first line = last line (Si Snake).  And also the meaning of 勾陳 Gou Chen on the last line.

Did this formation be meaningful ? ..

Yes the 1st and 6th line Si fire Parents line is the same ... Can we see inside this line also the nature of working shop ?? ..cloths ?

Metal formation is not possible at this moment, because You Metal is in Kong Wang (Emptiness) and broken by Day.
The line of business is very difficult in this hexagram, because your original question is about the career prospect.  But Self line comes with Qing Long (Dragon), which is a Wood element.  This can be paper, stationery, publishing, clothing, plants & gardening, herbal medicine etc. 

Self line is Offspring+Sibling (Friend) indicates that the job is a salesmanship type.  Why so?  Offspring is customer, because Offspring produces Wealth. And Friend coming with it means: getting a customer by being a friend.  So it's a saleswoman, customer service, account officer (if a bank), or other similar job.

Hi Tientai, great to hear that the work relationship is good now!  Now it's Shen month.  From the hexagram, indeed her Self line is strong in Shen or You month. 

She will leave the company in Zi year (based on the hexagram). And this coincides with her retirement age.
