Mm why do you say that?   :o
She really used the 2-digit Remainder technique.  It is a casting method that is exposed in the book the clear cut I ching for beginners.

Ahh, this would explain a lot.

Technically speaking, the Remainder method is not even WWG but Mei Hua, since it always give you a Moving Line and will never give you more than a one Moving Line that WWG permits. This is Mei Hua having WWG attached on top of it, which could also lead to strangeness in readings such as what you experienced, since it's not really supposed to be used together.

Remember that Mei Hua always leaves you with one Moving Line, never less, never more. WWG permits no Moving Lines, or all Moving Lines.

If you're mixing the two together, you will get inconsistent results like what you found.

Somehow I was aware that this method was limiting the response to a single mobile line. I'll keep that in mind for future reference. However, even if there were inconsistencies I think that in deep inside the affair the hexagram shows what the consultant needs to know.

Perhaps divination influenced the outcome, since I warned her that it would be a difficult exam.
Is it true that the exam turns out to be difficult?  That seems to be so from the Six Animals.  At the same time, if she has studied all the standard books, the answers are actually available there.  So, standard types of questions but then quite difficult.
As she told me, she already knew that the exam would be difficult because she had taken it a previous occasion and she can not get over it. And this test she passed was as difficult as the other times.

Please @The-Monk  some help to understand this logic ...
On above example one can use as Yongshen You metal Parent on 6th line .. to apply for 12 Life Stage Law ..?

You Metal is on Si Serpent as 1. Birth  "Chang Sheng" ... whilst Yin Wood is on 10  Vanishing "Jue " Stage ..??

Correct.

Furthermore can deepen much more ? .. par example Day branch Wu fire as 2. Bath "mu yu" ? ..
This has any value impact on Yongshen ?

If you can make a logical reason and explanation from it, then yes. However, I think you will find that using the Day Branch might be tough, since it represents the world around you in an indirect fashion - through the Five Elements and the Stem/Branch, rather than something that is specific. So in this case, you likely will not find any meaningful impact and application in applying it to the Yongshen.

Difficulty level is confirmed.
Please also ask her the type of questions in the exam.  What I mean by "standard type of question" is the answers are discussed somewhere in the books/material.  This is in contrast with free-style questions that are involved with current events/developments not covered in the books.

The bad thing about applying life stages to yong shen is that if you use yong shen wrong the rest is all wrong. however by applying it from the branch of the day you ensure that each line corresponds to that life stage.

I think the idea is that applying it to a changing line, if something changes to its vanishing stage, then that thing will disapear from the situation.
If something changes to its birth stage - then maybe it will be renewed and stuff like that.

So I assume its not only for the Yong Shen, anything that changes into its vanish point would disapear, at least in theory. Will test it later today but it makes sense.

Well, I do have to mention this one. : )
So I added the 12 life stages. They show up when we drag and drop a branch(Xu Earth etc.) to another branch.

In that way everyone can figure out what Yong Shen they are using and if they want to see its relations. Potentially, any 2 branches we drag and drop will show it between each other(first one in the stage of second one like in the screenshot):

Added in the front page link to the topic as well. : )
Also mentioned it in sources.

Again have to use Ctrl+F5 (or delete cache of the browser) to see the changes.

The Twelve Life Stages (or I often call it Twelve Qi phases) are defined in many fields of Chinese Metaphysics.  It's also used in Bazi.
There are mainly two types of Qi phases: Yang Qi phases and Yin-Yang Qi phases.  Whether you use both types or not depends on the schools of interpretation.

bazi-calculator.com by our fellow forumer @Voytek  also defines the Twelve Qi phases in the Bazi program.
