There has been a lot going on in my life and career this past year. I'm doing very well performance wise, but am having issues with backstabbing and it will get me in trouble eventually--probably this year.
I am generally very understanding and flexible with my employees, but given all the backstabbing, should I just stick to the rules without bending for anyone going forward? I hate to be so harsh, but I feel my job is at risk if I don't.
Everything that we do for the team is being put at risk because someone I brought in and promoted backstabbed me and has reported that we help the team by being flexible with the rules in special circumstances.
How can I avoid this type of backstabbing? Everyone that backstabs me is someone that I try to initially save or help. This never happens when I work with those that are older than me, but if they are close in age, they are fiercely vindictive while fronting a smile the whole time, so it catches me by complete surprise. Is this because of Yin-Si?

In my family life things have been moving fast this past year as well. Could someone look into my property situation and whether it is better for my parents to put my property into a trust where I am paid by the trust regularly, rather than owning the property directly? With this trust, my offspring will own my property directly, but I never will.
