I would like to ask you a question about what HHS order you prefer to see.
Currently my calculator shows HHS under EB in the order of their appearance in time.
For example, in Yin branch, you get: Wu, Bing, Jia.
Some users email me claiming that the order is not correct and they would like to see HHS in order: strongest first, weakest last.
So in Yin branch you would see: Jia, Bing, Wu.
Most masters I know list hidden stems in order of time appearance, and this is how I currently display them.
Let's take Spring as an example.
In Yin month, we have Wu-Bing-Jia
then in Mao month, we have Yi - wood qi comes as a continuation of Jia in Yin
then in Chen month, we have Yi-Gui-Wu - wood qi from Mao month continues as first stem, then water grave from previous season, then earth
then in Si month, we start with Wu earth qi that continues from Chen month, etc.
So the stems are ordered in their time appearance.
I could order them listed strongest first, weakest last, which is also reasonable, but this order seems to be used by only small number of users.
On the attached picture, when we list all 10-year luck one by one, time order of HHS gives good picture.
Any opinions?
