My view on this hex is that it will be difficult for you , because of obstacle. In fact you already have a business where you are working hard and where there is a income stream that is quiet ok and that you can manage. Addind this new business is possible but bring more headeache because seems that other haven't manage well his own business in past and there might be some legal or administrative issue with this. Usually before taking over a business in M&A process there is an audit. Maybe before getting into it you might want an audit that is more unbiased by a trusted professional or a trusted friend that know well that kind of situation ? (like checking cashflow, checking debt , checking value added, check accounting , contract with third parties ... )

Did something related to it happened on 8 sept (when the void ended)?
If a void line can really turn solid when the void ends in 10 days or so, then nothing is void, or everything will have full strength. We must distinguish between a real void and fake void.
Mao (the second line) already has no energy. It's overcome by Month and Day. When the void ends, it's time for Mao to be weakened by Shen Month and Shen Day.

There is always more we can learn, though...
I don't have a lot of questions spanning years ahead...
In this case, the movement of Mao may take many months, while someone may say Mao isn't void because it moves, that seems to work when the time span is close enough. Worth asking to see, if maybe the fact the movement is so slow, negates that
(meaning Mao has time to get out of void, other events to happen and then its movement will start to be noticed).
It seems it doesn't, yet good to know. : )
And there is always the alternative, that since the time span is so long, we shouldn't be following day void at all...

He says that when it comes out of the void the line "becomes effective", i.e. capable of imposing relations (sheng, ke, Liu He, Chong, San He...)
Certainly when Mao-Official comes out of the void will be in a very bad status as Shen is also his disappearing/vanish stage of life (vanished and dead by both, Month and Day). But as "THe Monk" said, another of Liu Yao's applications is the look for the right moments to start an action. So in coming water months like Hai and Zi it could be good for Mao-Official.

If this line is dead then it's activity is low hence it's voidness ..!!

I was also struck by the fact that you see Sibling as patients. Seeing it that way conflicts with the fact that Sibling (Chou and Chen) is devitalizing and Liu He Zi Asset/Wealth who is coming out of hiding. Patients want to control/command/overcome your business/wealth/money? How do you fix that paradox?

In other systems of the Five Arts there are the ideas of span of the question.
So if we ask a question taking years, then the change of the year pillar plays its role.
The details of the effect on this in WWG are difficult to obtain, as I rarely ask for such long term things.
The Void we use is always calculated by the day, so far, yet usually in bazi there are 2 of them, one from year(what other people see as "unreal"), and by the day(the person seeing as "unreal", "not solid" etc)... In other systems there is even Void from the hour pillar.
We would technically have branches in void from all 4 pillars for each question, so are there situations where other void should be used in WWG?
For example for long term questions Year and Month take role instead of Day and Month, or Day and Year maybe?
Maybe for questions like that the void should be calculated by month pillar?
I work with the idea that rules in most sources have issues, I'm just testing stuff all the time, usually it goes unnoticed, Jlim comment on it now, so we got into it, but there are more questions in relation to how it works long term and only way to clear it out is asking when we have connected question/situation, sadly this one the situation isn't clear enough for me to get a stable potential rule here.
Overall, there are many unknowns and only way to clear it out, in my view, is to ask for different aspects of that and with years and practice it will fall in place.
Meanwhile much of the system is reliable enough to use, without holding back, even with the missing stuff.

Yes good idea for long term cases is logical to see if is accurate the month or year pillar in relation with Kongwan .. it needs researches ..!!

I understand that your focus is Mao-Official (work/success), then Ji Shen is Offspring and Chou Shen is Sibling, but if you see siblings as patients and children as your skills...

I don't know if I got your point... different yong shen depending on what one more values, ok. But I don't understand that we can read it without the other things/stuff.
If in the end everything is based on the five element theory there can be not only generation (sheng) but also dominance, control, restriction and destruction (Ke). And as Ren set out his framework for the hexagram I see no relation of control, destruction or restriction...
I don't know, it seems to read the hexagram in an "accommodating way": Brothers (patients) generate Offspring, Offspring generate Wealth and Wealth generate Official. But what about control/restriction relationships?

I meant something else, but doesn't matter. In short and on the question - we do use controlling cycle too, that is where line "attacking" other lines, or weakening other line come from etc. : )
We don't always use the relation to the Focus, like hostile/avenger for the line taht has element of attacking it and stuff like that... As usually there is more important aspect of the line that is there and we look at that instead(for example Child will always attack the Officer, while Officer will always attack the element of the hexagram, so much of these is somewhat fixed to the relations as well).
