My understanding is QMDJ usually requires the Hour of the divination request.

Hi Lot,I mean the outlook for my next 3 years.
Maybe better to use Bazi (or similar). You really cannot forecast for three years into the future. So many external factors can (and will) change.
Next year, your intentions and focus may change. Is it apparent in the chart that it would be hard for her to promote me in the future?
If this is a current or near future concern, this is a valid divination query.
Regarding the hour, you are right. Though some schools may say it does not matter, I currently believe it should be your real time.
With QMDJ, it is best you provide the date and hour. With Liu Yao only the date is required.
Perhaps consider working with a Life Coach who uses fate and divination methods. I re-read your initial post. There are a number of things
you are sorting through. The perspective of an impartial ear can be tremendously beneficial.
