He has stated that he's born "around 5am" in Chicago. Look into his chart on astro.com, stating 5am as birth time. But it's listed as Rodden rating A, which means it's just from memory, not his birth certificate.
Why do you state that he is rich because of two earth branches that are not the tombs for his wealth element?
If he is Xin metal, his wealth would be wood. There is wood stem on year pillar that combines with Geng on month pillar to make metal? And he's also sitting on wood in Mao branch. Mao branch is in half directional combination with Chen to form more wood.
We don't know at what hour he's born - but if he's born during YIN hour, then there is a full directional wood frame in the branches. And that would be a Geng-Yin hour pillar. If he's born in Mao hour, it's Xin-Mao. If he's born at Wei hour, then the hour pillar is Yi-Wei, so more wood on stems and the wood tomb.

His birth time is not really known - but in astro.com there is a guessed time at 7.30 am. Rodden rating B, which is not reliable. But if we go with that time, then his hour pillar is Wu-Chen and Chen is his Golden Carriage.
bazi-calculator.com says that there is a hidden triangular combination between Chen and Shen (although Zi is missing from that). He's deemed as a weak Jia DM from that calculator. So perhaps he needs strength from his luck pillars to acquire wealth? If he has the Wu-Chen hour pillar, he does have a lot of wealth in late career and it doesn't surprise me if his children pillar has that Golden Carriage... it's very unusual that modern day people in the western world have so many children.

In 2002 he's still in Xin-Mao LP, but it's a Ren-Wu year.
In 2012, billionaire status, we have a Ren-Chen year in Geng-Yin LP. Both are interacting with his Chen Golden Carriage hour branch and there's also the Yin-Hai wood combo to give him strength.
That LP also forms the "three heavenly nobleman" structure in his chart if hour pillar is correct, Wu-Jia-Geng.
He's currently in his Ji-Chou LP, full of earth and he's going into his Wu-Zi LP in 2028 which has that indirect wealth on the stem and that will be a full hidden triangular combination of Chen-Zi-Shen, again a positive activation to his Golden Carriage and Zi water feeding his DM.
I don't know how to spot a special kind of Bazi - so I don't know if there's a lot more to his chart... but these are the basics I see.
I'd like to add that if this hour pillar is right, then he has conception pillar as Yi-You and his life pillar/ming-gong as Yi-Wei. So if we take that into account his life pillar is wood sitting on earth and the Wei branch possibly interacts with the destiny when he's going through his Xin-Mao LP to become rich (Hai-Mao-Wei full wood frame).

I'd also like to add in here that in Sam Altman's case, if the hour pillar is Mao, then his conception pillar is Xin Wei and life pillar/ming-gong is Bing-Xu whereas if his hour pillar is Yin then his ming-gong is Ding-Hai and Hai branch is Golden Carriage for his DM.

You might be right about the punishment Zi-Mao giving him trouble. But at the same time, Zi also combines with his Chou and Chen. And possibly this Zi luck pillar also combines with his ming-gong, making that Hai-Zi-Chou full water directional water frame to feed his wood.

How does he obtain wealth?

There's an aggressiveness in your communication style that I'm not fond of nin99. I prefer not to interact with people who feel the need to be aggressive. Best in summer months, but Xu month is also tomb for fire. Two Jia stems are helpful to this fire frame.
The Yin is a key to this pattern... but the chart also needs water, preferably Hai water. This one has Zi water in 4P but he started with Hai LP in early life to teenage.
The Yin branch LP mitigates the Wu-Chou harm. Yin makes a "secret combination" with Chou with all the HHS Wu-Gui make fire, Xin-Bing make water and Ji-Jia make earth. This "secret combination" happens for his day pillar and his life pillar.
What is Chou branch to this DM? It's his star of arts, canopy.
