予曰：汝之來意，問妻孕平安乎？孕之男女乎？彼曰俱問。
Yu said : you came with [dual ] thinking, asking if the pregnancy is safe and sound, and what is the gender of child? someone must say this before ask .
予曰：嗣後須分占，不可同問，
Yu said : from this point to distinguish divination, must not make similar askings.
幸此卦兩事俱現，兄爻雖動，不剋變財，孕婦分娩無虞；
fortunately enough this Hexagram for these both affairs entirely appear,Brother line acting not subdue the changed Wife / wealth line,this woman not be worried from her delivery:
卦中陽動變陰，必然生女。
Central to first Hexagram there is a Yang line that changes to Yin, certainly a female child will be born.
彼問：［小過］謂之陰包陽，如何生女？
Someone else asked:[ there is a little mistake ] this gives the sense that Yin [changed line ] take charge from Yang [Original 3d moving line ] , how will be born female child ?
予曰：神兆機於動，先重動爻也。
Yu said : the intention of Shen [God ] omen is on moving [line ], and when there is repetition in advance to this moving line [Original 3d moving line ].
果【壬申日】生女，產母平安。
Result [ On ren Shen day ] will the female born, the Mother after this birth was safe and sound.
覺子曰：
The son (of Yu) said :
占妻平安及占男女，原宜分卜，
The divination on wife’s safety and on fetus gender, primary these queries must distinguished .
彼若問於閒時兼問者，還可同斷，
if making when in leisure time make both askings, in progress you will facing to judge both,
問於臨產危急之時，切不可斷男女。
ask when there is dangerous wife's childbirth, you should not judge for her fetus gender.

also the child line are all yin line , the hex is from dui family 官卦 that represent the youngest girl from a family . Too many sign it s a girl

Wow, I really don't get this case:
- Shen Sibling changes Mao wife/wealth: metal devitalizes/ke wood, but the classic text says not to worry that it doesn't really overcome it? why?

this sentence seems to hold the key to understanding the above, but I don't understand it...
Other data:
- Xu Parent and Hai offspring are in kong wang and in Day and Month entombed.
- Sixth line Xu Parents is clashed by Chen Day and Month. Xu earth Strengthened by Chen Day and Month could look like "fake kong wang". It could move secretly strengthening even more Shen Metal brothers that would harm the wife...
But and yet the Child will be born and the wife is healthy? I don't get it. :-[

For predicting gender, it's more practical to do it with the current medical technology. I am now calculating an auspicious cesarean birth date for a client's baby (based on Bazi). I got the request (including the gender) when the fetus was only 4½ months old.
The exception occurs only in mainland China where gender reveal by doctors is illegal since 1979 because of the one child policy.
