Hi magpie, I have taken a quick look only at the parent aspect of your chart.
In my opinion, father is not Wealth (Jia Wood) in this specific chart. Father is represented by Wu Horse.
If father was Jia, then he would be clashed by Geng this year. This would not be favorable.
Fact: 2020 has not ended yet, but considering that he still earns 3 times as much as you after the covid19 related pay cut, he's not doing bad.
As Wu Horse, this Wu can withstand the clash by Zi very well. Wu-Yin-Xu is a very strong San He (Trinity) combination.
2019 Ji Hai was not good for his health:
- Ji sits on an unstable pillar
- Wu swaps image with Ji
- Ji is locked in combination by Jia (Month Stem) and Hai (Annual Pillar Branch)

Yes, as I said before 2020 is a good year for career. And so far it has proved to be so. Although you work in one of the most affected industries by covid-19, you have enjoyed an increase compared to last year with less work.
I skip the reasoning for the mother star (Mangpai technique), but your mother is represented by Jia Wood/Yin Tiger. Jia combines with Wu Fire (Power), while Yin harms Si (Power). Hi magpie, the positive benefit of Yin Wood producing Si Fire: a very strong hot and dry gang. This is especially good when you have Metal/Water Branches to control in the gang.

With the current drama happening all over the world i wont recommend changing job. Your chart strength is with managing people. Without water in HS i wouldn't think sale is right for you. If anyone have other opinion please help magpie out. tks.

Wondering if anyone is able to answer this question?
Someone read that I will always need to work really hard with little support and will need to support the men in my life. This reading also said that am destined to always be second in command since Wu is in month, rather than day pillar—but all the power elements go into Xu, the day branch, does this not mean I can be more than second in command? So far though, I have always been second. With my bf being jobless and the current US economy, I fear that this could become true and I will never be able to save money or advance my career in time.
What level of success am I able to achieve? What level of management? I thought 2020 would be a good year for me, but I don't feel I was able to achieve anything this year. In comparison, 2019's performance ranked us at the top in our company.
Although I felt hopeful when my boss offered me a Sales role in August, but it seems he was unable to get that approved by his superiors. He did not speak about it again to me until they were down to hiring one of two candidates (he worked with both in the past). I was offered two other promotions earlier this year that I turned them down due to location. Now, I regret not taking one of the offers because I don't know when I will have another opportunity in this economic climate.
Up to now, our hotel was performing well against our local competitors, but now, our performance is dwindling. Why is 2020 fizzling out for me?
I also felt I made two major faux pas in front of some superiors this year. Will my awkward personality and limited networking hold me back from excelling?

From what I see You are a very capable girl and you can controlled all the authorities in your chart. From your chart you got wealth in year and month. This indicate You most likely work for big companies. Jia wu indicate wealth is related to travelling.
You want to release your full potential you must aim for wealth in the year. Which is getting out of your comfort zone. Moving to oversea or far away land. Give yourself a chance.
