Cartomancy / Re: Is reading tarot a gift?
« on: January 02, 2021, 05:44:38 PM »
Happy belated new year to everyone. Thanks for this interesting thread.
I'm new here but I'm kind of old too as some of you know me.
There are many ways to connect to your Higher Power. The Tarot is definitely one of them, at least for me. I use it mainly for my personal spiritual life, and the learning journey has been fun and interesting. I have made my fair share of wrong predictions so I'm still learning. Learning from my own mistakes & wrong predictions have sharpened my skill. The 78-Tarot card deck is not perfect as it cannot visualise every scenario in your daily life. Even if you enable the 'Reversed' function, 156 scenarios are still far from perfect. We enhance the accuracy by introducing the 10 card Celtic Cross, but unfortunately I am still not good at interpreting Celtic Cross as I seldom use it. One card is enough to drain my energy.
If you compare the number of permutations, Bazi has more permutations than Si Hua ZWDS. But if you use San He ZWDS, the number of permutation may surpass Bazi. QMDJ divination seems to have more permutations than I-Ching divination (in the form of Liu Yao / Mei Hua / Tie Ban) - I can't be sure of this - but less permutations doesn't mean inferior. I believe that less is sometimes more. That's why, most of the time, one Tarot card alone is usually enough to give me advice. Also, affinity is very important. You must have affinity with the divination tool. Any form of divination can be learnt. It's still possible. But if you do not have affinity, it is a lot harder to learn it. You may have to work with other outstanding issues in your personal life before considering divination.
Hope this helps.
PS: Yes. Tarot is dangerous. Any form of divination is dangerous. Knowing the future is dangerous.
However, do consider the opposite scenario. Not knowing the future can be even more dangerous.

Hello Sir JLim. I'd like to guess again even tho I got it wrong previously.
I think she's married. I know she has three 7K stars and HO month branch,
so marriage might be difficult.
But Ji Hai decade in July 2018, she has chance of getting married.

Members Lounge / Re: Welcome home!
« on: December 26, 2017, 07:48:47 PM »
Hello everyone.
Albert here giving a loud shout
to both new comers as well as the older ones among you
who already know me
I notice that there are no post limits or karma limits over this side.
So everything is more or less transparent.
Unless you use the PM function.
Might not be a bad thing too.
Peace be with all of you.
Short intro of myself.
I'm an amateur enthusiast in astrology.
In real life, I'm an educator.
I'm pretty of age compared to most of you here
(based on an old age survey)
Hence I do not wish to reveal my year of birth
cos I really hate to remind myself the bitter truth.
This Rooster year has been a relatively difficult year for me.
A few good things did happen to me here and there,
but overall, not so good.
Today has been an especially tough day for me.
Very tough.
Really don't wanna go into details.
Feel pretty discouraged, so I'm just writing something here
to let off some steam. Hope you guys
will forgive this long post.
It's members' lounge for casual talks,
so nothing heavy or technical here.
I've been very involved in other stuff in my life,
so been kinda out of touch with astrology for some time.
Even Tarot has been out of my life during this period.
Maybe it's time for me to get back to spiritual development
after a long hiatus in this new forum.
One last little info about me.
I'm a Scorpio, which explains my change in nick.
Old nick was too laboriously long,
so I gave it up.
Albert Camus the French writer was a Scorpio too,
so I thought, why not?
Testing to see if I can edit my own post now ...
nice ... can modify ... can remove post too ...
