Just for sharing, I also work in a super competitive community where everyone thinks they're better than each other.

The truth is, our expertise or scope of work is too narrow. All of us basically do the same jobs and we have the same customers. When the jobs are few, the situation becomes cutthroat... as if there can only be one winner.

When the expertise is diversified significantly (from 1 skill to 4 skills), our scope of work becomes more complex. We no longer do the same jobs and we have different type of customers. Therefore it's difficult to assume that "I know everything, I am better and smarter than you".

Instead, there is a need for collaboration to cover each other who lacks particular knowledge. A supportive community.

So all that we observe here is your process in relating to your environment.
How that environment may look etc.

Lets say... Imagine a car. We see it may be painted in specific way, it moves in specific way etc.
If we see, for example, that it doesn't move straigth but swings from left to right while driving fast, in the other lanes etc  we can say stuff about other cars and its surronding now. It will likely make other drivers nervous, they will stay away. Will try to give it space. may bring road law problems etc.

But this is not because we know anything about them, that is in their chart. That is because that is how they respond to your chart. : )
Anyway, in short - you can change whatever you want in your approach to stuff(your chart). They dont play a role in any of this directly, they just respond to how you use your chart, in the only way they can have.

If they compete or are jealous then there is something that brings that forth. At least in general, there are exceptions, but I don't think that is the case here. : )

I don't really know long term stuff much... But one way to read it is that...

Lets say you see someone close to you.
Month pillar activates. There are few processes that may run at the same time.

Ding DM vs Bing MP.
Bing sees Ding as not active enough, not 'awake' enough etc.
While Ding can see Bing as taking too much space, overshadowing them etc.

That suggests one may tend to view people nearby as very important creating tension from that.

Yin and Chou create hidden combination of Fire. Fire is Sibling/People.
Suggests one may have the feeling something important is missing when around other people, and it relates to 'Sibling/People' Images. Seeking it out or allowing it to create nervesness may be problem as well.
Yin controls Chou making that worse.

Chou is Tomb of Wealth, also is very stable by itself(I am presence etc.)
So people may tend to look for stability in the person yet on the surface they see something else.

Why there are problems with nearby people... I don't know, no idea what you have balanced already. But initially, there may be this contradiction, very stable inner world(Chou) focused on inner Wealth and looking for it outside(all controling Chou), yet on the surface DM is thinking a lot about what other people will like and how to make space for them.
Understanding the process(may not be exactly this but should be something similar) then moving beyond it and much could heal.

Focusing on centerness, inner worth and not be influenced that strongly by people around is a nice step. Meditations could help etc.
Just my view of course and this usually works only if one can verify it physically, so its a guess at best like this.

Whatever the problem is, the relationship is competitive. You should find out what made them competitive/hostile towards you.

There are 2 reasons I can think about: money-related issues or lack of attention.
