Black kitchen how to correct?

Hi,

We have bought a kitchen about 1 months ago for our new flat and this weekend it will be installed. I have forgotten to consider feng shui flow when choosing the kitchen and we have decided to have a black colour kitchen due to its modern sleek touch.
Cabinets, cupboards, refrigerator are all black. Only the counter is dark brown.

Then my mother pointed out that black or dark furnitures brings bad luck and is bad feng shui. Now my question is, how can we correct this black kitchen? Are we now forever doomed?
Returning the customised kitchen is not a choice unfortunately.

Thank you for your response and assurance.
But how come I should not worry about black kitchen? I thought black blocks the qi flow...

It happens that my new L shape sofa is black too. What colour cupboards would you suggest to get? I will try to accessories my living room with some warm colours to make energy flow more smoothly.
