Hm... there seems to be inconsistency, because domination, generation, bound (combination) and clash are all interactions between the Wu Xing (five elements).  For example, You-Mao clash also has a domination interaction, where You Metal dominates Mao Wood.

Yes, there are different schools that use the Heavenly Stems, but I'm not familiar with them and do not use them.

What is the most correct way to establish a relationship of the 5 elements , with HS or EB?

I was taught by my Taiwanese master to use only the Earth Branches, and so far this system has worked very well for me.
