My farther is currently retired living in Brussels...however he was a former Ambassador to Thailand who had a brilliant career working for the European Union...

Father star in your natal chart is Xu.  Xu is Fu Yin (duplicated) at the Hour Branch.  Since father went to far away places, the chart with Xu hour is correct.   This is the chart that Tientai plotted in Reply #1, and the program uses real solar time (RST).  I also use this program.

Your feedback above would not match well with the Gui Hai hour.

Dear @GrandPatzer ..
I putting some of my amateur thoughts on reading your chart .. according to MangPai Bazi .

DAY Master - Gui Water is strong, and Solid so it likes to control Fire. But its strength is unsteady due to Xu squeezers so need wood ...   If strength is not definite, or it has no Fire, then it cannot become noble.
Luckily enough Hai Day branch host can form a half San he (of Wood Mao) with year Guest Wei tomb of wood.
This is a work process. .. (Water likes to produce wood ).. dear @JLim Give a help on this Pls..

Even though when meets Geng, Xin, Shen and You Metal takes help support, this means the person can only have an ordinary life  (on LP/AP with Metal Stem/ branches).
Gui Water is linked with its source by a solid water Spouse pillar but squeezed with Xu isn't so healthy for himself / or Spouse  ??  (..should not have its flow cut off )..

I take 己未 as your father and 甲戌 as your mother. Your dad could have more than one wife and you have different sibblings of the same father. Still learning the technical theory to figure out weather your are the former or later. l am using 癸亥 as your hour. Please correct me if l am wrong. Thank You.

Hi Alan,

Ok, that's interesting...I'm not aware of any other siblings that I may have outside of my parent's marriage....although it is probable that my father has had extramarital affairs ..I know of one case...many years ago...

Yes, sometimes I feel that I lack support from my immediate environment....maybe it's because my resource star is not prominent in my chart..
