Amazing, you are spot on
@coldpillow !
He has always been overly indulgent with food and heavyset. He is also addicted to drugs. Drug abuse triggered schizophrenia, which also afflicts my older brother. I highly doubt either of them will ever be competent enough to support themselves, or function in the workplace.
His ex-boyfriend used his credit card for a few years without being noticed. He lost other belongings in that relationship and became introduced to drug use.
Since our older brother had schizophrenia, we warned him not to experiment with drugs until his brain is fully developed, but he gave in to peer pressure and addiction all while knowing what it was doing to him. He continues to struggle with drug abuse knowing that it exacerbates his symptoms.
Which years will be most challenging for him? Sometimes our family has no choice but to commit him to psychiatric facilities and it is emotionally distressing for him and our parents.
He can have some violent outbursts, who will he listen to better, me or my sister?
