But Xu Earth appears in the second hexagram, and is not the result of the first hexagram since there is only one changing line in 6th position (??)
You're right, Sacrar.  I was confused by the plotting format, because I no longer this format.
Well, this case study was a year ago.  I don't remember the reasoning, so will have to take a deep look again.
I understand that who asked the fortune teller was the son asking for the father? is it specified in the original old text?
Yes, it's a son asking for his father. We just assume it's a son and not daughter. The original post by Tientai says at the very top: 占父出外 Divining for Father Leaving for Another Place (or Traveling)
Discover your destiny and make your important decisions at any given time 'n situation

„《黄金策》以空亡为重,冲散为轻。
In 《Golden strategy》is written that using Empty Loose (kong wang)
is of much importance, while Clash (Chong) loose as lightly (less important)”
Mao and xu gather, chen you gather  , xu will eliminate the chen emptiness
and move P mao.

Yes, it's H. 59 Huan. The branches and six relative, seix animals, branches are correct in the plotted hexagram.

Hi all,

FYI. My translation of the case study using the 1691AD version of Zengshan Buyi (ZSBY) (see ZSBY-6 pdf in https://fivearts.org/index.php?topic=1997.0):

[Ex.23-63. X/W to W/W]
Example: Chou month, Ding You day. Divining about father who is away, for a year without news. Obtained Wind-Water Dispersing [X/W], transforming into Kan gua [W/W].

Wind-Water Dispersing [X/W]   Kan as Water [W/W]
Father-Mother   Mao wood   ○   Officer-Ghost   Zi water
Brother-Sister   Si fire   丶 Subject   Son-Daughter   Xu earth   丶
Son-Daughter   Wei earth   丶丶   Wife-Wealth   Shen metal   丶丶
Brother-Sister   Wu(h) fire   丶丶   Brother-Sister   Wu(h) fire   丶丶
Son-Daughter   Chen earth   丶 Object   Son-Daughter   Chen earth   丶

Mao wood Father line is moving and producing Subject. Also changing into Zi water turning back to produce. Predict that [father] outside is safe. Subject void [i.e. Si on a Ding You day] [means] a swift arrival. Come spring, he will promptly return.

Result: in 2nd month [Mao], triumphant return. Is this not Mao moving with You day clashing it? How can it be ?dispersed??
