No one, my mom loves me dearly (even too much) n would help. But her help sometimes turns out to be obstacle or making my plans go awry. She’s frantic n anxious, she fears many things in life. She the kindest n yet not the most helpful. I’ve always been heavily relying upon myself for career. My family never gets it. No one literally helps me in real life.

How about your father? Is he an imposing figure, somewhat a jerk/abusive or he's too busy to exist in your life?

I wonder if your grandparents treat you well and provide you with stable environment that you would rather staying with them?
