I hope it's ok for me as an amateur to suggest an answer in this thread. Or my contemplation. I don't know why the experts are not touching this case - but I'm guessing because this is not a full Bazi, it's lacking the hour pillar to judge the full strength of the DM. Another possibility is that the "support" supposedly being in Si month is not strong for this DM since it is clashed by the day branch?
Maybe this Bazi is a weak earth that can not handle lots of water wealth, but needs resources for him to have money?
Ji earth, just like Yi wood are tiny creatures when they are weak without enough support. If they have too much water they can simply be too wet and/or float away. So they will need earth in the branches to build support underneath them? Perhaps this Ji earth can not handle too much water on his branches for "money luck". Perhaps he could handle Gui water, light water as a bit of wealth. But when he gets more fire and earth support, he can be stronger to use his resources to make use of?
F.ex. Gui-Wei year 2003. I'm wondering if the earth branch would offer the necessary ground support for the weak Ji earth to handle making some Gui sprinkle of money?
I asked AI for some help about this issue:
A weak Day Master lacks the strength to control its Wealth element (which it is supposed to overcome).
Attempting to acquire wealth during a Wealth period can lead to being overwhelmed, resulting in financial loss, stress, or poor decisions ? a classic pattern known as "wealth kills the weak self" (财多身弱).
Instead, Resource periods (e.g., Fire for a weak Ji Earth DM, since Fire produces Earth) strengthen the Day Master by providing support.
Once strengthened, the individual can better handle wealth, make sound financial decisions, and retain resources ? indirectly leading to wealth accumulation.
Thus, for weak Day Masters, Resource years are often more beneficial and prosperous than actual Wealth years, as they build the capacity to eventually manage wealth.
I'm guessing. It would be great to hear the experts opinion. I'm trying to learn from real cases.
