Hi Tientai, this is a difficult case. Yong Shen is Offspring line Shen Metal. But since the question is about his wife, we we must also look at the Wife line.

How many wives does he have? I see there are two, Second line Hai and Fifth line Zi. He may not be able to get a child from the first wife, due to Month Break, and this line is entombed in Chen.

He has better chance from the second wife, which is strong by Day, because she is Zi and Day is You. Zi changes into Shen, the Offspring line, and is produced by Shen. But the child will not come so soon, not the same year.  Xu changes to Wu, and Wu clashes Zi.

I asked about how many wives because this case is in ancient China, so a man can have more than one. If this hexagram is asked in another country today, perhaps having many wives is not allowed.

But 5th Zi Wife /wealth moving yao, is subdued by the [4th yao ] Xu earth, even if going to transform to Long Life  (Yin - wood - Chang Sheng -12  life Stage), and at the same time You metal of the day product this [5th Zi yao] , inevitable there will be many illnesses, is observed to happen on Mao wood year, on Si year is [ destined ] your noble [first] wife to be died, when the winter month [Zi water] you can remarry, in Shen metal year you obtain a son, and with this birth any sickness will vanished.

Interesting, Tientai!! So indeed as I saw in the hexagram, he should expect a child not from the first wife, but the second wife.

盖以内卦亥水之财，即为正妻，破而被克；五爻子水之财，乃为再娶，变出申金子孙，必生子也。

Note that "Break" refers to the Month Break or 破Po.  It's not the break due to Chen line.

You mean line 3 is Hai and agree with @JLim is on Month Break with Si fire ...

Mao /officer Self first line is in Liu he with Other Xu 4th line ... so is related with 2nd wife indirectly .. the occurring day branch is clashed Mao and break this Liu he .... moreover there is out of empty days with this break ..

Note : WWG and Zwds Earth Qi phase ‘chang sheng ’ Qi phase 1 begin in Shen EB, muyu You etc..
Earth ‘xiang’ ready in Fire month & ‘chang shen’ Qi phase 1 in Shen EB.
Metal ‘chang shen’ Qi phase 1 in Si EB month, qi phase 4 shen EB, qi phase 5 you EB, favourable.
Winter month water is favourable for second wife which got strength…

Thank You so much ... is something new for me ... this happens only for Chang Shen tables: Earth Qi phase..?

This principle is valuable for 4 Tombs ? ( Chou , Chen , Wei , Xu ) ?

The 12 Qi phase can be applied in WWG with anti clockwise rotation ?? ... or only to Bazi fate calculations ?
