Subject is void and clash by day ==> very weak
Si that supports Wei move into Yin, Yin combine with Hai to overcome Chou ==> his friend/superior is helping in lobbying.
Subject moves to Xu to activate Mao clashing You ==> he is also asking someone else to take out his rival.

You is strong, so i guess it is hard for him to get the promotion?

Yes, he will be promoted, but not so soon.  Note that the querent may need to do a trick to gain the promotion!

1.  Self is void, but then the Day clashing it makes it solid. 
2.  Self is a progressive line (Wei --> Xu).  Parent line represents one's thoughts: he's moving forward in his career with firm belief in himself
3.  The Yong Shen (useful god) is Si Officer.  Si wants to produce Wei, but Hai Month clashes Si.  This month is not the timing to get a promotion.

There are two Wealth lines here.  Each means a different thing, as follows:
4.  Mao Wealth combines with Xu (Self line).  This is his own future salary increase, because Xu is in the future.
5.  Yin Wealth combines to hold Hai, so that Hai cannot clash the Yong Shen.  This is what costs him to get the promotion.  Since Wealth comes with Serpent, the hexagram suggests that he needs to bribe to get a promotion!  It's just the nature of a serpent not to be straight, isn't it?  Especially when the Si is weak by both Month and Day.
6.  Yin Wealth produces Si Officer --> you need a little money to get more (promotion)

Note: I believe this hexagram is from ancient China, where bribery to gain a higher office was not uncommon.  Such an interpretation is not necessarily applicable, we have to see the environment.  In a "cleaner" environment, for example, lobbying would be done instead.

Yes, I agree with you, Tientai, the second divination was not necessary.  Sometimes I feel that the diviner(s) in the Wild Crane text was not sure of themselves

If there isn't any Officer [Star on Shi self line on first casting Hexagram], how the Officer [on 1st line] will properly reach and produce Shi - self line, and also now [on this Hexagram how to evaluate] the Officer star that holding the Shi - self line ?

今既前卦動官相生，後得官臨世位，食祿王家，終須有日。
Currently in first cssting Hexagram the Moving Officer line is in Producing Phase [Yin Wealth return and produce the Root line], but on next casting Hexagram Officer star is on Shi - self [unmoving] line, will be Princely in public service,one day.

Here, already the prior gua moving Officer produces. Later [gua], obtain Officer at Subject position. Joining government service, [serving] the imperial family, inevitably.

彼問應在何年。予曰。前卦官臨月破。定於實破之年。
He asked: Response in what year? I said: Prior gu? Officer at Month Breaker, will happen in filled breaking year.

果於巳年。承襲長房世職。若以月破。百無所用。霄壤之隔也。
Result: In Si year, inherited extended-family?s hereditary office. If consider Month Breaker, a hundred [matters], useless. As far apart as heaven and earth.
