Aunty's Health

Hi All,

I need your opinion, please.

Few weeks ago, we were informed that my aunty was very sick. My another aunty insisted me to bring grandma visiting her. Now, due to some work, i really need going home. The problem is, instead of staying here longer, grandma want to follow me back home. My another aunty doesn't agree. She is afraid something bad happen soon after we leave, and we have to go here again. The cost is very high if we are going forth and back. And my grandma is too old for long distance travelling like this.

So, i asked : How would my aunty's health be in next couple of months?





Subject = Wu Fire is my aunty. Wu is daybreak. All the branches when i made the hexagram weaken her. Indeed she is very weak right now.
Furthermore two ghost / officers are flanking the Subject. Chou and Chen dampen Wu Fire. Chou is lungs cancer. Pipe has been installed to drain any  fluid in her lungs. Chen is stomach. She feels sick in there too. Her liver also has cancer cells.
The help comes from Yin wood. Offspring = Medical treatment. This Yin wood is supported by Hai Siblings. Yes, siblings give financial support to cure her.  Line 6 You metal overcome Yin wood. Fortunately, You is in void this time. Somehow, because of using government's health insurance, the medical treatment is limited to what it  can covers.

Since the hex is unchanging, i think the condition will stay like this for couples of times. So it is okay for us going home next week? Or am i wrong and we need to watch out on Zi month, when Hai month passed and metal get out of their void?

Your aunt can also be seen as Parent line, which combines with Officer/Ghost line, which is the line that represents illness.  Combination with illness line is not seen as an auspicious thing.  Parent line also comes with Xuan Wu (murky warrior), which indicates that her health is in an unstable situation.

On the other hand, combination with Offspring line could be an auspicious thing, but that is not happening here.  Offspring line is strong by Month and Day, so she is in the hands of capable doctors for now, so the doctor is not an issue.  I see that there are a few doctors that handle her case.

Note the Offspring line: Yin combines with Hai, and Hai is Siblings line.  Siblings line can represent an instrument or tool, or something that helps with movement.  Siblings line is also Kong Wang (empty or void), which may be something unreal. And it comes with Tiger, which represents lungs (among other things). The whole thing means that pipe/drain that gives her a relief, but not real cure because it's Kong Wang.

Finally, note also that this hexagram is Returning Soul, and Parent line sits on the sixth (highest) line.

I may add something later, but that's how I would analyze the hexagram for now.

On this case Void Days are : Xu - Hai  and not You branch ...
BTW is out of void ...

i meant void by month branch. yes, we don't count on it ussually.

i hope so. similar situation happened last year and slowly she's been recovered until suddenly she got breathing's problem

Our family put trust on the hospital and their doctors. They are reputable and had cured my aunt's servical cancer few years ago. Also last year, when her kidney and urinary system got troubles, while other hospitals gave uncertain diagnosys and treatments, they could fix it and made my aunt healthier.

I've just known that Hai is still considered in void, even when it appears in Month Branch.

I've been searching about Returning Soul, but got nothing yet. All the text for hex 7 I've found so far, talk about diciplinary/leadership.

Hex.7 is an ominous sign, its shape resembles a gravestone.     Specific indications: kidney and spleen vacuity, nephritis ,pancreatitis…
 Interpretation :   xu month strike  chen –branch , this is a thomb  for wu and is a sign of death threat.

Hi Phoenix, first of all, sorry to hear of the loss of your aunt.

Divination for critical illness is a very delicate matter.  At that time I wrote this:

The Returning Soul was a point that ren also mentioned. In ordinary language, I hoped you understood what I hinted when a soul returned.

The line position (the highest line) also indicated the same thing --> a person's life goes from line 1, line 2, ... line 6 (highest). 
But these points must be combined with the analysis: Parent line's strength, combination with Illness line, Self line's strength etc. before assessing the critical illness.

The hexagram has no moving line.  It does not mean that there is no change in the situation (to worse or better).  It just makes it a bit more difficult to analyze.  Reading a non-moving hexagram is like reading a quiet person.  You cannot so much see the person's action, because he does not show it.  You must observe his body signals: eye movement, body posture, head tilt etc.
