- In the natal chart, Zi punishes Mao, and Shen has a Jue (severe) relation with Mao (the latter was identified by Newman too).
- LP Bing Shen came, "time" for the Jue relation to occur.  And Zi water grew stronger in LP Shen, whcih enabled it to break (punish) Mao.
- Her husband suffered the devastating illness as soon as she changed LP to Bing Shen.

Thanks for the detail explanation.  In this situation, may I conclude the cause of the illness (Jinx) is not the star but the palace (where Mao resides) or when star EB element attacks the palace EB element?

Both spouse palace and spouse star must be assessed.  In this chart, the spouse star and palace happen to be the same.

Thank you for your respond.  My last question is: I'm not sure what the meaning of "Jue" (Mao & Shen relationship).  In other words, can you elaborate or provide some clarification on this thought?
