Officer it taken as Yong Shen (Useful God).  Her illness should not be a problem because
1  Fourth line Offspring clashes Second line Illness
2  The next day the wife's condition will start to improve
   a Third line Mao Wood represents wife. 
   b Today is Gui Chou day, where Mao is in Kong Wang.
   c  Starting tomorrow Yin day, wife will be out of Kong Wang
3  Based on the two trigrams that make the initial hexagram (Zhen Dui over Kun), her illness is digestion-related

ANSWER TO THE QUIZ----

”余曰:“卯日财空，明日出空，必定退灾。
I say : on this day ( Chou) the (3d yao) Wife/ wealth mao wood is in Kong (empty). Tomorrow there is a release of kong. Can be sure to withdraw calamity.

I say : there is no harm,on this Hexagram in Offspring Hai water (4th Yao ) that is moving subdue the Shi/Self 2nd yao Ghost/Official, as for the daily Yin wood EB will be combined (Liu He) with Offspring Hai water (4th Yao ) that will start the next day (Yin wood EB), so there is no worry for this, indeed there is no disaster on the next day, neither medicine nor a doctor (needed).
也不独此，又因卯木财空，次日出空而退灾。
Indeed this happened , Wife/ wealth was Kong (empty) on Mao wood EB, but the next day when  Kong (empty) is released then disaster disappeared.

...for a closer watch I want to propose the why a divinator came  to think on this example the day when emptiness fulfilled  (Kong Wang) ?


When the 4th yao offspring Hai water moved to change to Shen brother Yao... that producted yao creates a Liu he with Si Of the 2nd Shi/self Yao ... ( Shen - Si = water )... this alliance hold water by this bondage .. and stops moving this 4th yao .. after all !!

So when the boundange (alliance) is broken then Hai water of original yao will clashes and control  Si of the 2nd Shi/self Yao .

Which Earth branch can brake free this bound  ?
The answer is  Yin wood EB (is on the next day ) ... that Clashes  (Chong) with Shen and makes the bound free..
