Hello there, my name is John and I have newly joined the MangPai Foundation Course. After going through Dharma's material, I try to re-read some of the charts that I have.
Attached is the chart.

This chart belongs to a successful German female lawyer who travels around the world and has several properties in different countries. She is involved with clients that engage in million to 10-million dollars deal.
What I like to know is how to read the character of the person using Mang Pai System and how to see that she is successful in her career.1. GANG OF ELEMENTS
This chart has an influencing Metal and Water gang. However, based on traditional reading Wood should be considered the two strongest elements but in Mang Pai system we do not identify whether the strength of certain elements will be enhanced by having certain stems falling under the Month Pillar.
2. INTENTION OF THE CHART
Being Metal and Water, this chart has the intention to control Wood which is Shi Shang (Output), and Fire which is Cai (Wealth).
3. THE "WORKING" DYNAMICS
Ren sitting atop Wu; it is Daymaster sitting on Wealth accompanied by Guan Sha which is an Unstable Pillar. Having an Unstable Day Pillar shows an individual who is active. She is rest
Ren Water operates to control the Fire which is Cai represented by Ding under the Wu Horse Earthly Branch and subsequently Cai transformed into Guan Sha specifically Zheng Guan (Ji Earth). Following the
guest and host principles, Ren Water is operating as Host while both the Ding Fire and Ji Earth under Wu Horse EB function as Guest. This effectively show how the Host can control the Guest.
4. CHOU AND WU FORM A HARM
Chou Ox from Hour Pillar and Wu Horse From Day Pillar form a harm relationship.
Could this relationship trigger the functioning of water which is Gui causing it to work to
overcome Ding? (Note to self: Overcoming is less efficient than controlling.)
But then Chou contains Xin which is Yin (Seal)? Would the Ding Fire be considered to have something to do which is to overcome Xin Metal and make Ding into a Working God? This is because Ding Fire can go about working to burn the metal and such can control the Cai in order to fulfill the requirement of the Thief-Police structure?
Or is it that when one character is being controlled, it cannot go about controlling other characters?
5. IS YI AND MAO CONSIDERED TO BE DEAD WOOD OR LIVE WOOD?
I see Yi Mao at Month Pillar as dead wood which should function to be burned and not be afraid of metal. Being positioned near the Daymaster, it is auspicious as it facilitates ease of performance to help produce the Cai (Ding Fire) under Wu Horse.
6. WU EARTH SITTING ATOP OF SHEN AT THE YEAR PILLAR.
Year Pillar is Wu sitting atop Shen, it presents the image of
Yin wearing the Guan Sha Cap and is an unstable pillar. As such the Daymster can gain status and recognition but not officialdom (by virtue of having unstable pillar). Guan Sha can represent her own
enterprise.
The reason I mention she is operating her own enterprise is because of
swapping image of Shen (Monkey) at the Year Pillar with the Xin at the Hour. Xin being in the host (Day and Hour Pillar) can be considered as something she creates and as such she is not working for others. Moreover, there is another Xin within the Chou. Xin Chou is considered a stable pillar.
As her work deals with foreign clients this has something to do with the influence of the Hour Pillar which is beyond the "door" and is indicative of overseas operations and markets.
7. BEING INDEPENDENT AND HAVING DESIRE TO TO MOVE FAR AWAY
Can we say that in this chart configuration, the Daymaster when young was already independent or had the desire to move far away especially to foreign countries because of the interaction of
Shen at Year and
Xin Chou at Hour? An hour means “beyond the door” which can mean traveling far away to operate or fortune is found overseas. The logic behind such a conclusion is that Hour Pillar contains Yin (Seal)f from Xin Metal and Guan Sha from Chou Ox.
8. WU HORSE CANNOT TRANSFORM INTO WEALTH
The problem is Wu cannot become Wealth because Chou is Wet Earth as the chart is dominated by Water and Metal gang. Could this be the reason a
harm relationship occur? What is the implication of this? Could Wu Horse still work to become Wealth?
9. GENG AND YI - AN HE (Hidden/secret Combination)
There is a working process between Geng and Yi in the Shen and Mao in the Year and Month. Geng Metal is Yin (Seal) and Yi Wood is Shi Shang. So we can consider this to be Yin transformed into Shi Shang. This leads to an efficient process as the Daymster is not dependent on Lu to support Shi Shang. Because have Lu to produce Shi Shang is indicative of arduous profession.
10. THIEF-POLICE STRUCTURE
This woman's chart fulfills the
thief-police structure within the natal chart. The police is the
Ti (body). Both Xin and Geng are considered to be the Body (Ti).
Geng Metal has a thief that it can operate on and the thief is the Shi Shang represented by Yi Wood which is present at Month and is closely adjacent to the Day Pillar. This a highly functioning metal where it has wood to chop.
11. BOLDNESS IN APPROACH
Therefore, this Daymaster is highly
productive at a young age and is curious, enterprising, adventurous, and
extroverted. These qualities are brought forth by Shi Shang. In addition, the Shi Hang that is operating is the Hurting Officer instead of Shi Shen, Eating God. Hurting Officer (Shang Guan) shows aggressiveness in expression and is someone who frequently takes initiative to do things. According to the manual, Shang Guan can be viewed as the Yong. As such, the Ti-Yong principles is fulfilled.
In addition, this woman is constantly seeking to apply herself, is a great problem solver, and is bold in her approach.
12. IS POWER (GUAN SHA) HARMFUL TO THE DAYMASTER?
Power is represented by Wu Earth and Ji Earth. When power is prosperous but without control, transformation, or work processes, it will be inauspicious. It brings no benefits and can be detrimental to a person’s position and reputation in addition to affecting the prospect of officialdom.
However, in the case of this woman, Power can be transformed to Yin (Seal) which is both Geng and Xin metal being present in the chart. As such, it can be considered to have work and does not pose a threat to the DM. Can this be the correct interpretation?
13. XIN TAKING ROOT AT CHOU
Can we consider Xin Metal as taking root in Chou but Chou is being affected by the main interaction with Wu.
Since this chart gravitates towards the Metal and Water gang, Wu Earth can be controlled and is less likely to hurt the Gui Water and the Xin Metal at Chou. Nevertheless, when certain stem from the LP and AP that increases the Fire energy of the chart namely Si (Snake) and Wu (Horse), there could be certain challenges to this Daymaster as Wealth will control Xin Metal as Yin (Seal) and Gui Water as Yang Ren (Goat Blade) at Chou.
Am I right to say this? Or could we simply interpret that since there is a process, wealth can be “put to work” and therefore does not harm the Daymaster?
14. FU YIN. WHAT WILL THIS YEAR HOLD FOR THIS WOMAN?
The arrival of Mao from LP and AP creates
Fu Yin. Mao is Shi Shang. Fu Yin can mean "double".
Can I conclude there is a greater drive of this Daymaster to apply herself to earn wealth? This Daymaster will gain more opportunities from different clients to do so where the clients will come in to seek her expertise to solve problems.
Hope some of the seniors here can answer the above questions.
P.S. BTW, can someone show me how to embed the image into the post?
