Very confused: Which is my correct Hour pillar?
« on: January 06, 2024, 03:25:09 PM »
Hello everyone,

I'm born in Johor, 01:25, when GMT was +7.5
(In 1981, GMT changed to + 8.0)

Which is my correct hour - Bing Zi or Ding Chou?
Is there any way to check based on past life events or other methods?

Thanks much!

If your hour pillar is Bing Zi, then your DM should be Ji Mao on 12 January.

Hi Winter,

I would just go with the corrected chart - Bing Zi.

I guess you are a female. What is your read of your chart?
What are you trying to find out about yourself?

Thanks,

Ren

Erm ... Should my day pillar be Geng Chen, or Ji Mao (suggested by @coldpillow ?)

I'm new to Bazi. Any reading for 2024 and beyond is very much appreciated.
I'm also trying to learn about ZWDS (off topic). Anything for ZWDS also welcomed and appreciated : )

Hi Winter,

I don't have a clear answer for you.

Normally we use the two-hour time segments, therefore 23:00 to 1:00 is considered Zi hour.
So Coldpillar is correct in stating the day should move from 1/13 to 1/12.

But I am not sure how this should be technically handled. This is something maybe @Rapanui or JLim can clear up.

How is your career, profession, work outlook? What do you do?
How is the relationship between your mother and father?
Did you move a lot in your first 10, 20 years?
Are you a male or female?

Thanks,

Ren

Hi Ren,

Hope the following will be useful.
I am female.

Thanks for your help : )

Career
. Yr 2001 - 2013: Career was pretty stable
Around 2011, completed a 3 year+ part-time study course, and also got a tiny sponsorship for a very short 1-month course
. Yr 2014: Did part-time work and also started a new study
. End 2014 - 2016: Many obstacles and ended up not completing new course
. Yr 2014 - current: Doing project basis job, earn very much less compared to 2013

Relationship between your mother and father
. Bad. They were either out working all the time, or bickering when at home
. Late 1999 - early 2000, they had a huge quarrel, and later made up but finally divorced I think between 2013 - 2016

Did you move a lot in your first 10, 20 years?
. Don't know if I moved a lot as a child before 6 years old. Age 7 - 20 years old stay at the same place.
. Yr 2000 (21 yrs old) moved out for around 6-8 months so that I could get some quiet to study, away from the bickering noise at home
. Yr 2001 (22 yrs old) moved out again for around 6 months to be nearer to training school (training sponsored by company but have bond)

Yeah, I am getting more and more confused. Lol.

Should my chart be
. Bing Zi (hour pillar) + Ji Mao (day pillar)
. Bing Zi (hour pillar) + Geng Chen (day pillar)
. Ding Chou (hour pillar) + Geng Chen (day pillar)
. or something else?

Appreciate if the friends and masters here can help.

Thanks much : )

If your birth date and hour is correct (12 Jan 1979, 01:25 in Johor), then your chart is for sure Bing Zi hour and Geng Chen day.

Timezone GMT+7.5 is correctly included. There is 44 minutes correction from longitude and equation of time. Real solar time is 0:40. So Zi hour.

There is a school that claims that Zi hour (early Rat) starts a new day pillar at 23:00 - but even in that case your still and Chen Dragon.
Day pillar change would only be effective if you were born just before midnight. It doesn't work the other way around. It's logical because we take Rat as a starting point, so we can start a new day early, but not reverse the day and go back instead.

Ren is doing great job verifying the chart BTW!  :D

Hi Voytek,

Thanks for helping me understand : )

Erm ... birth cert says 13 Jan 1979, 01:25, Johor.

Is it still Bing Zi (hour pillar) and Geng Cheng (day pillar)?

Hello Masters and friends,

I'm trying to learn more about this.

I've used Bing Zi hour to generate the 10 Gods structure
Went to 3 different sites and all give me quite different info. Lol.
Which one is correct? (See the attached)

Am I supposed to be Direct Resource structure or Hurting Officer structure?
Very confused ... again ... Haha.

Btw, @ren , do u need more info?
Haven't heard from you in a while.

Thanks much  :)
