SOFT SKILLS SERIES #1
INTEGRITY, ETHICS AND MORALS
Chinese Metaphysics practice, and especially Fengshui consultation, is an esteemed and sacred profession.
The consultant is perpetually ‘twisting’ the fateful energies that are affecting his clients. A good well trained Fengshui consultant should know that whatever life condition that we are now, is the result of our past Karma.
If we are enjoying life with minimum problems and obstacles, it only means that we had not done bad things in our previous life (or lives).
If we are suffering untold problems and obstacles, it could only mean that we had done many bad things, that are coming back to us as retribution.
Therefore, be afraid of Karma, and as a Fengshui consultant must practice and live a true and altruistic life style.
The personal character of a Fengshui consultant must –
• Be honest;
• Have integrity;
• Have ethics;
• Have morals.
When you practice and perform consultation work, there are few things that you can do and few things that you cannot do:
1. If in your professional opinion you cannot do a Fengshui job, or, you know that you cannot or do not have the skill to turn-around a bad Fengshui situation, DO Not take the job.
2. Never ever scare your clients with words or deeds, for your selfish desire to squeeze money out of them.
3. The main function of FengShui is to – ‘Enhance the auspicious and avoid the ominous’ (QuJi BiXiong 趋吉避凶). It is very difficult to ‘enhance the auspicious’ because there are many factors involved, but, ‘avoiding the ominous’ is much easier. Therefore, when you are in the midst of an audit, please do not speak too much about the ‘so-called bad things of the house’. This is because not all the ‘bad placement of furniture or any items’, can manifest into ominous happenings.

4. If your audit shows that the client’s house is extremely ominous and can bring disaster to the residents, or, if you feel that the house could be haunted, please, DO NOT try to do remedies.
a) There could be many reasons that your prescribed remedy might NOT work.
b) if the house IS haunted, it is not safe to anger the spirit residing in the house.
Therefore, it is best to advice your client to move away from that ominous house. However, you can offer your professional service to help him choose another safer and more comfortable house.
5. If you are also a Daoist White Magic or a Buddhist White Magic practitioner, then, for point #4, you may try to do something to help your client. But always remember to stay safe, because, some spirits are ferocious, and we as ordinary human beings, might not be able to counter their attacks. Please be warned.
6. If you are doing divination professionally, there are two jobs that you must not do, and there is one information from your divination, that you must not tell out straight away.
If a woman comes to ask for a divination to check whether her husband is cheating on her or not, DO NOT take the job;
If a man comes to ask for a divination to check whether his wife is cheating on him or not, DO NOT take the job;
If in a divination, you see your client is going to die soon, DO NOT tell him/her straight in the face. Use a diplomatic and courteous way to ‘advice’ him/her of her health issues.
Why is it adviced that you do not take the divination job for a wife checking on her husband’s fidelity, and a husband checking on his wife’s faithfulness?
There are two reasons:
a) if person being checked, comes from a gangster family, and he/she vehemently denies your divination and calls you a charlatan, you might end up being beaten or more seriously being killed.
b) if your divination is super accurate, and you accurately divined that the client’s spouse had cheated, and you told him/her the divination result, it could, in a simple and less serious manner, lead to their divorce. But what if either party has a violent streak, and your divination result, could cause either party to get violent, and kill the spouse, then, you had blood indirectly smeared on your hands.
Therefore, please be adviced.
