On certain charts when I go to select the option for "similar dates", I see this message appear. What is the source of this message? "Stable DM marries with strong wealth - probably well off person."

herut, that's interesting, I'll have to ask @Voytek (who made bazi-calculator) how he arrived at that.  But I understand that quick analysis, this is a stable DM all right, because Ren Zi is a stable/solid pillar.  "Marries" refers to combination between DM and Wealth in the Hour Pillar.  And Ding Wealth is strong/stable/solid. 

bazi-calculator program is not meant for a specific Bazi school, but the above is how the Mangpai school would classify DM.  A person with such a chart is not automatically well-off, because we have to analyze the whole chart, and also the Luck Pillars.

this is just an experimental function I've added about a year ago, that's why it is somewhere on the bottom of the calculator.
I was testing MangPai and I also placed it in the calculator so that other users could also see it (only Premium).
And yes, this is a message based on MangPai - explanation given above by JLim if fully applicable here.
And as Jlim mentioned, the chart has to be examined by human, this is why I have added the "probably" keyword
From the example given by herut (Warren Buffet chart) we can see that in this case it works well. Estimation always needs to be done by real human bazi specialist though.

In fact I was thinking of adding a new tab in my calculator called "MangPai", where we could test this kind of MangPai-based conclusions, but for now I have too little knowledge about MangPai.
I think this kind of tab could make more people in the bazi world interested in MangPai school, so MangPai could find more followers, especially if the stuff was quite correct.
Of course that would go with annotation that a program will never show you the truth, it can only suggest some stuff to examine by a bazi analyst (BTW everything that my calculator shows is ONLY suggestions, no interpretation).
But, possible MangPai section in my calculator is only song of future.

I think that would be an excellent function! I'm just now really hearing about the Mangpai school of Bazi, but thus far I've been really impressed with the interpretations thus far. It kind of puts me in the mind of Jamini school of vedic astrology as far as what it can produce.

Basically Mangpai analyzes how a chart "work", so it's mostly about flow, and what contradicts the flow.  It is unlike the Shen Sha school with a table of auspicious and inauspicious Shen Sha Stars.  It's also unlike the traditional school where a certain element is liked or disliked.  Since Mangpai is a more dynamic system, it's more complicated, and hence more difficult to implement in a program. 

Having said that, there are still some Mangpai definitions that we can incorporate into bazi-calculator, but by no means can they help in analysis.  I see that you have privately emailed me about it, and let's discuss it again :-)

yes of course any program can't interpret and I even if it could I personally wouldn't like a computer to interpret my chart I'd prefer human.
What I ment is that I think there can be some rules that can be programmed to give a BaZi analyst some hints and some help in interpretation.
That is what my calculator does, giving pure maths calculations plus some hints like interactions list etc.

Example with Warren Buffet given by herut inspired me to write about my old idea to create a MangPai tab.
But if you think it wouldn't be too useful, then I think we can forget about the topic

I found that Tom Brady's, QB of New England Patriots has this "label" as well. It's not that clear to me in this chart, however he has lived an exceptional life, primarily later.

The note generated by the bazi-calculator program for this football quarterback is valid: "Stable DM marries with strong Wealth".  Very wealthy and surrounded by women.  And his women are very wealthy too, so in this case "marries with strong Wealth" also means "marries with very wealth women".

Also, what in his chart signifies wealthy women? Is it the amount of wealth in the chart?
