I have not had experience of divining the weather    No client has asked for information on the weather so far.  Weather forecast can still be useful for very specific forecasting or date selection.  For example, if you're a movie director, you can use Liu Yao to select the date for filming without any rain.  The weather website covers a bigger area like a city, while Liu yao can be more specific for the movie site.

According to the theory, we look at the Parents line for rain.  Consequently, the Wealth line represents a bright day (the opposite), because Wealth overcomes Parents. 

Let me just contribute by looking at the current weather condition.

From this hexagram, since the Wealth line Chou is strong by Month and Day.  It moves to be produced by Wu Fire, so Wealth is a very strong line.  Currently it's a very bright day without any cloud.

Sibling line is hidden, and in this case not able to come out.  There seems to be no wind either.

I should say: Wu fire Offspring line that is on Month and day foundation, is in extremely Flourishing Stage [Timely], so Useful line that Duplicates, when comes across Grave Warehouse will accept what is storing, by this way i know that on Xu Day will come out the rain.

I think that line is the Useful God.

Hmm... I don't understand why rain happens on Xu day.  Although Xu entombs Wu Fire, Xu also overcomes Parent line (rain).

I think on this case of Query  the correct sentence is :
When this Heat will end and start the rain ?..

By this way what is abundant just as Wu fire .. when comes to Grave Warehouse (Xu earth ) will  store Wu Fire... and consequently Hai EB water rain will come about ...

Yes Tientai, the day that Wu Fire going into the grave/tomb/warehouse does make sense.
I have another thought, since that day (Xu) also overcomes Parent (Hai), the rain was only a little.

Hmm... I don't understand why rain happens on Xu day.  Although Xu entombs Wu Fire, Xu also overcomes Parent line (rain).

In another post The Monk commented that the earth transition months can maintain qi of the preceding season. It could also be similar with the days.

Shen and You days precede Xu, and these metal days are the Yuan Shen of the Parent (rain).

The Offspring represents a clean, bright and clear sky, then if it is in the tomb it favours Official (thunder) and thus produces rain, as well as cutting off the vitalisation of the Asset (sun), which prevents rain (Parent).

It is often recommended to predict the weather, as a beautiful and constructive way to practice and learn Liu Yao. It is said this way in books and courses.

I said: ?Wu(h) fire Son-Daughter are at day and month, so prosperous is extreme! It has multiple Useful Lines. Meeting Tomb(p) storage [Xu] to be collected. So, know that on Xu day, it will rain.?

Result: On Xu day, Shen hour, it rained.
