Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the UK have all smashed records today.
For example:
- Temperatures in Paris have topped 42.6oC (108oF) today, the hottest-ever in recorded history.
- In Lower Saxony, Germany, 41.9 Celsius today.
Out of all days in the current Xin Wei month, why is the record broken on a Gui Hai Day? Gui is Water Stem and Hai is Water Branch. Does that not make you curious? Many others would believe that it was expected to be a rainy, misty or even cool summer day due to the Water element.
Over the years, I have made an observation of the effect of the 10 Stems and 12 Branches on natural phenomena. And I must say that the four pillars system (which uses them) cannot be helpful in explaining natural phenomena, such as weather. Four pillars is a tool for birth chart reading. Weather, earthquakes and other natural phenomena are different from human energetic fields, and in my opinion for such things four pillars or Bazi is not the right tool.
Please discuss.
Some years ago I took a course on meteorology, so I could understand the Five Arts better. The idea was that that is a place they intersect, the western science has spend a lot of effort developing that and so have parts of east with the Arts.
It was awesome, basically way above us there is always a "battle" between the hot fronts and the cold fronts, cold ones coming from the arctic and hot ones coming from the equator.
They interact in different ways, that creates also the weather that we have.
And if someone familiar with that look at the sky, just by the type of clouds they can see they can figure out what type weather we can possible expect.
Short term of course, long term the west still haven't made it perfect, officially the idea is that there are way too many factors, is that true or not we currently can't know imo.
I can still very much recommend any meteorology lectures in youtube or free courses in coursera or futurelearn or similar site, its awesome to see the same ideas, but when it comes to air fronts.
However, looking the info there it doesn't seem to follow the same patterns as in bazi.
its very rhythmic here, while very volatile and unstable there.
So I fully agree, bazi can't help with that in my view.
As bazi is using very structured patterns, 12x10(/2) rotate all the time, while if there was so structured pattern in the weather we would have found it by now.
Of course, western meteorology is aware the seasons are important and that is the month branch. we know the daylight are important and that is hour branch.
So 2 pillars are connected to the weather.
But when it comes to Years or Days that 2 pillars doesn't seem connected to anything we know, so while very good for reading destiny when that 2 pillars react and interact with the seasons and daylight pillars, as we don't know of any connection of Day/Year pillar to the climate it makes sense bazi won't be fully usable when predicting climate.
As half of it is related to climate, but the other half seems related to something else. And as already mention it isn't the relation to Jupiter in my view. But even if it is for the Year, that also isn't related to our climate since its very far away from the Earth.
Short version - sure, I fully agree.
