Hi TenVirtues tks for taking interest in this chart. The example was posted in a fb group for the purpose of explaining some beginners concepts on 7kill and direct officer. It has no background history on it real life.

Can you share with us the details discussed in the FB acct?

Chen & Xu clashed open & allow DM to use what are within the elements.  Just my guesses, the difference: one is cold/wet & the other is dried/warm or opposite of each other.  Since there are two Chen, then Chen might be able to subdued xu.

Hi tyc the discussion was on finding the working god of this chart. The HS and EB was not in alignment of DM desire. Furthermore there wasn't any gang that DM can used to obtain it. So they concluded it a average to mid grade depending on coming lp.

I don't know much about Mangpai but in traditional bazi we have 暗合 hidden combinations. Specifically for 辛巳 and 丙戌 which i would consider to be 干支暗合, Which is further separated into 通禄合, and 余刃合.
In Margaret Thatcher's chart she is a 庚 DM, 辛 is considered 阳刃 for 庚, 丙 is 7k. She was born in 丙戌 Month, 丑 year. 丑戌 penalty is 癸 in 丑 clashing away 丁 in 戌 leaving only 辛.  Which enables this combination.
It is further confirmed in her hour pillar of 辛巳. Both indications pointing towards successful hidden combinations of 丙辛. Both apparent and non-apparent.
As 丙戌 is 明丙暗辛, Bing Apparent Xin Hidden and 辛巳 is 明辛暗丙 Xin Apparent, Bing Hidden.
Both are strong indications of controlling and wielding power and imo would be around the same category of a 羊刃合杀格.

We can see this from her domineering personality in the Political Stage. Margaret Thatcher is known for being persistent and pushing through her parties agendas.

Yes, since you understand some Mangpai, it's quite simple: the chart has a Fire gang to control Xin, as you said.

So, what the Chinese text wrote is incorrect.  Controlling Qi Sha or transforming Qi Sha are the only ways for auspiciousness of Qi Sha (Seven Killings).  In Mangpai we understand that there are other ways for this Officer Star to be auspicious.

Yes, I recognize this chart.  This guy is a stock speculator.  It's mainly Wealth because the Wealth Star controls Shen, but he can also aim for officialdom.   

By the way, the topic that you started is "Officer subdued (controlled)", so this chart is actually not in the right topic

Yes it a millionaire Bazi. I m reading it explaination in chinese but can't understand some of the term it used.

What it mean 反向做工? Anyone have a better explanation?
